frustrated to say the least at not going in yesterday, not least because of the knock on effect it may have on the treatments that are booked to start in the next few weeks. Will hopefully be in on monday, it will just cut down the time I have to feel better before the radiotherapy starts.

I was all packed, with my own pillow, sweets, iPod, books. Like a veteran after the first time in I made the radical decision to shave the back of my hand where the canular is inserted and the sticky plasters hold it in place. Now I'm sat at home with one hairy hand and one bald hand. What a Numpty.

On the plus side I have developed a new form of head gear incorporating lettuce leaves.

Not sure I could get away with this at Stoke, but if we win this afternoon I will consider it a lucky omen and have to wear the lettuce every Saturday. In the comfort of my own home obviously.
